--verbose

Shows TwainSave messages during acquisition.  By default, the messages are sent to the console.

The --verbose mode outputs informative messages as to the options the user has specified on the command-line, and attempts to test each of the options to see if what has been specified on the command-line can be supported by the selected TWAIN device.

Note that this is different than the --optioncheck option in that --optioncheck only does a minimal check of the options used.  If the option is supported, --verbose actually tests the value given for the option that is specified.  The other difference with --optioncheck is that --verbose does not shut down TwainSave automatically.
