Setting Color and Bit Depth Level

Top  Previous  Next

The following TwainSave options allow you to set the color type (Black and White, Grayscale, Color/RGB), and the bit-depth level (1, 4, 8, 16, 24 bits-per-pixel).

--bitsperpixel

--color

For devices that support "halftoning", the --halftone option can be used to lessen the size and memory the image will use.  Halftoning will fill in solid colors with a dithered pattern.
